Pre and Post-Procedure

Previous Suggestions To The Procedure

• During the week before to the procedure, we recommend NOT to take aspirins, any anti-inflammatory medicine, anticoagulants, or alcohol. 
• If you dye your hair, or use lotions, you must suspend it a week before. 
• Inject Gammatet o Tetanol (antitetanic vaccine), 1 week before to the procedure. 
• The week before you must wash your hair with the Antiseptic Shampoo HAIR RECOVERY and have dinner as usual. 

Treatment Day

• Have breakfast and lunch as usual 
• Take a pill of CEFACILINA 500 mg 
• Re wash your hair with the antiseptic shampoo 
• Preferably wear a shirt 
• Don’t bring metallic things (rings, watches, necklaces, etc.) 
• Bring the rest of the medicine 
• If you want you can bring a cap 
• The companions can stay only in the waiting room. We suggest that they come pick the patient once the procedure has finish in order to everyone be comfort.
  We suggest NOT to drive cars after the procedure.

POST-PROCEDURE SUGGESTIONS

• Take one pill of CEFACILINA 500 mg every 12 hs, until you finish the box. 
• Take one pill of DOLOMIN 300 mg every 6 hs, during 2 days. After that continue ONLY if you are in pain. You can take both pills together. 
• Put ICE in your forehead during 10-15 minutes, 4 to 6 times a day during 3 days to avoid inflammation. 
• You must soak a gauze or cotton into alcohol and apply on the back wound 2 – 3 times a day until the stitches are removed (12th day). 
• You can eat whatever you want, just avoid drinking alcohol during a week. 
• You can sleep in your favorite position, you can even lean on the back wound.Protect the pillow from a possible spot of blood, it is NORMAL if this happens, be calm and compress the bleeding during some seconds with a gauze soaked in alcohol and everything will be fine. 
• Don’t comb your hair, don’t use any kind of hair products until the doctor tells you. 
• Call HAIR RECOVERY before 8 pm to inform about your evolution. 
• HAIR RECOVERY has a predicted control post-treatment to remove the stitches out. 
• Avoid sunbathing, going to the sauna or solarium for 1 month and practicing sport for 15 days.
